Why we started
Almost every embedded Linux team has the same test setup: it grew over the years. A rack full of boards, cabling nobody dares to touch, no documentation, no health checks, and a CI job that fails for reasons nobody can explain. The one person who knew how it all fits together has already left. Nobody designed it that way. It just grew.
We spent years building ARM boards and their Linux systems with The Yocto Project, and we built and patched setups like that again and again. So we built it once, properly: one platform for flashing, power and serial console, with access control, image uploads and a setup that stays stable.
And because agents are changing how embedded software gets written, we built it so they can work on real hardware too, in a controlled way.
